Marketing Designer

As the Marketing Designer, you’ll join a rapidly evolving in-house creative team and will need to be a self-starter with a portfolio demonstrating deep experience designing digital marketing for a D2C company. You should love partnering with marketing and other cross-functional team members to turn marketing goals and consumer insights into high performing creative across multiple digital channels.
This role will focus designing marketing ad creative, in video, animation, and still formats. We need someone with their finger on the pulse of marketing trends and the technical skills to deliver on a variety of digital marketing tactics that help meet business objectives, customer need, and ultimately compel consumers to purchase. We take great pride in creating high-quality work that amplifies the premium quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Design stand-out performance marketing ad creative, in video, animation, and still formats.
- Experiment, test, and iterate on creative across multiple digital campaigns simultaneously that prioritize marketing goals while maintaining the brand aesthetic and meeting the ever-changing needs of the business.
- Partner creatively with cross-functional teams to turn trends, insights, and marketing goals into design decisions that deliver high-performing creative across multiple digital channels.
- Be a strategic design partner to drive engagement and conversion across email, social, landing pages, and other web content for marketing purposes.
- Collaborate on scalable design systems that ensure quality assurance on creative deliverables inside a team structure.
- Support a small but mighty in-house creative team to create and evolve high quality marketing assets at scale.
- Collaborate with creative team, project management and cross-functionally to effectively manage your time and hit deadline across multiple projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years digital design experience. Whether at an agency, e-commerce or D2C brand, you’ve tackled a wide range of marketing and advertising projects.
- 4-year design degree or equivalent. You have an excellent understanding of design and ecommerce principals.
- A solid portfolio. Your work applies best practices across a high volume of marketing projects and mediums, including video and motion design.
- Understanding of consumer branding. You naturally champion a brand by understanding digital trends and can discern which is applicable and relevant to our brand.
- A collaborative approach. You’re a humble design partner to your cross-functional teammates and crave feedback/analytics to help you craft effective solutions.
- A growth mindset. You’re open, with the energy and drive to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- A systems thinker: You delight in extrapolating and extending shared design elements and patterns to reinforce consistency and efficiency.
- You have tricks. You’re an expert in Adobe CC, Sketch, Canva, and can debate the value of the latest design tools. Bonus points if you’ve used Monday.com for project management.

Affiliate Marketing Manager
Overview:
Affiliate Marketing is a critical component of Leesa’s Performance Marketing portfolio and has been experiencing YOY growth despite the pandemic due to continued experimentation, financial rigor and innovation driven by our highly capable team. We are looking for a strategic and motivated leader, with a passion for innovation and problem solving, to lead and take the affiliate program to the next level. As the Affiliate Marketing Manager, you’ll own our affiliate performance-based marketing programs for Leesa. Our network of CPA/CPC-based publisher and influencer affiliates needs a steady hand to manage strategy, relationship building and campaign management. We need a proven affiliate manager with an analytic eye that understands the conversion funnel, can identify trends that are leading to revenue (or aren’t) and use that information to influence future campaigns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Use your expertise to be an advocate for the Affiliate Marketing channel, fostering knowledge and educating business partners on best practices and recent trends in the industry.
- Maintain and grow direct relationships with affiliate partners.
- Develop performance forecasts, make data-driven decisions and ensure consistent delivery against the established program goals.
- Be an active participant in the industry by forging strong relationships with our networks and key affiliate partners, conveying our company’s mission, holding them accountable for results, help identify and recruit new partners, negotiate new deals, re-evaluate existing networks and technologies supporting the program.
- Deliver against sales, traffic, and ROAS targets.
- Closely partner with ecommerce, performance marketing, creative, brand, and retail teams, internal and external, and engage directly with Leesa's affiliate network to communicate our daily offerings and develop creative assets and all other resources required for day-to-day operation of channels.
- Monitor day-to-day affiliate channel activity, analyze performance by conducting channel deep-dives, identify areas of improvement, and consistently look for ways to drive growth while achieving efficiency goals.
- Establish, build, and maintain relationships affiliate relationships, existing and new.
- Monitor ad performance on a daily and weekly basis, identifying actionable opportunities (targeting, optimization, creative direction, etc.) to improve performance at scale.
- Create weekly reports, monthly reports, “end of campaign” reports, and ad-hoc sentiment and performance reports surrounding key initiatives and tests.
- Possess strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills as the core function of this role is to analyze affiliate program driven traffic and sales data to derive conclusions and actionable insights.

- Maintain familiarity with Leesa’s B-corp standing and associated benchmarks so that our mission is considered at every stage of the business

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required – MBA/Masters preferred but not necessary.
- 6 or more years of active involvement in Affiliate Marketing, preferably within direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce companies, with hands-on knowledge of Affiliate networks.
- Experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce / online retail environment.
- Extensive understanding of acquisition funnel, performance marketing KPI’s, and profitability levers.
- Experienced in negotiation and management of online media campaigns.
- Extensive experience in campaign and performance management, with deep understanding of critical metrics such as CAC, LTV and ROAS.
- Demonstrated success scaling an affiliate program across all core affiliate publisher segments (e.g., influencers, loyalty, mattress review sites, cashback, coupon, media.)
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a bias for action, driven by data and results.
- Capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses incredible work ethic driven by an entrepreneurial spirit; showcase rock-solid reliability and dependability.

Senior Manager, eCommerce
Overview:
The Senior Manager of Ecommerce will be responsible for managing all aspects of Leesa’s Ecommerce P&L. This Senior Manager will partner with the Marketing team to execute the Ecommerce strategy and growth plan, manage and drive on-site conversion, email, SMS/retention marketing, customer journey, and the Leesa site experience. You must be a team player who cross-functionally aligns with merchandising, marketing, customer service, retail, supply chain, and technology. This role will include conversion optimization through continuous testing and analysis. He/she will partner with Finance to enhance our forecasting and reporting tools, introducing a new level of accountability and transparency. The Senior Manager of Ecommerce will be an inspirational, collaborative leader adept at leading through influence. He/she will serve as a critical change agent, providing insights that drive new ideas that will increase in revenue and customer loyalty.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strong ownership of P/L and while optimizing to deliver business profit
- Partner with Marketing team across areas of ecommerce strategy, site experience, buying & planning - relationship and alignment with IT and Executive leadership team
- Execute promotions based upon our pricing strategy and partner closely with Retail to align campaigns and promotional events across all sales channels
- Execute the annual ecommerce plan in line with the enterprise planning process
- Manage key drivers behind sales and gross profit margin, including traffic, average order value and conversion, to ensure the team is on track to meet or exceed the plan
- Leverage site analytics to monitor performance and guide action
- Manage milestones, deadlines, and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects, keeping the team up to date with progress and decisions
- Communicate to executives and other key stakeholders the strategies driving ecommerce and provide ongoing status updates across initiatives
- Serve as subject matter expert for online commerce across the enterprise
- Ensure effective communication of all ecommerce initiatives, resulting in consistent understanding of the reasons for, direction of, and expected results of each project
- Act as a focal point for progress reporting on key initiatives, including timely updates/presentations to the Senior Leadership
Team, Marketing Leadership Team, IT, and other key stakeholders
- Directly supervise and work closely with the entire ecommerce team including UX/UI, loyalty, and retention
- Own the holistic Leesa retention strategy, including cross-functional strategies to drive LTV within each category, customer conversion, and loyalty/VIP programs, including managing and evolving our existing program, and defining and launching new programs
- Own email marketing and SMS, including batch, lifecycle programs, triggered, transactional emails, and push notifications

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required – MBA/Masters preferred but not necessary
- 8+ years of experience in ecommerce
- 4+ years of planning, executing, and analyzing B2C email marketing campaigns
- Deep understanding of UX/UI with customer experience at the forefront
- Strong marketing sensibility and ability to balance content and commerce
- Experience across multiple channels, including push notifications, in-app messaging, direct mail, and SMS is a plus
- Experience with customer engagement platforms and email service providers (ESPs)
- Strong technical expertise managing complex ecommerce platform initiatives
- Ability to partner and work with a de-centralized team with various priorities and objectives
- Ability to influence others and champion for projects on the brand’s behalf
- Passion to drive top-line growth using web marketing, analytics, and multi-channel leverage

Customer Experience Supervisor
Overview:
Customer Experience is the heart and soul of Leesa Sleep. We believe in the golden rule and treat our customers as such. As a member of our Virginia Beach Customer Experience team, you will be instrumental in delivering Leesa’s excellent customer service promise.
This position is full-time and is based in our Virginia Beach office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the CX team in day-to-day activities at the direction of the Head of CX
- Conduct all on-boarding of new employees through CX training procedures
- Monitor calls as needed and provide coaching, or training as directed to ensure quality standards are met
- Own FAQs and knowledge base to ensure accurate and helpful information
- Report on goals and KPIs to Head of Customer Experience and relevant stakeholders
- Manage customer transactions to include refunds, cancellations, order modifications, replacements, and other exceptions
- Respond to escalated customer inquiries via email, phone, chat, and social media channels
- Communicate with manager to troubleshoot operational and logistical issues
- Interact and maintain both internal and external relationships in a professional, and appropriate manner
- Support self-service initiatives including chat bot, and additional support channels
- Own and support the Covey Platform driving next phase implementation, customer experience, and increased upsell/cross sell opportunities
- Accurate daily completion of time and attendance in TimeStar

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5+ years supervisory experience in customer service, call center, or sales
- Strong ability to positively motivate a call center team to improve performance
- Proven ability to train and mentor call center associates
- Experience with Zendesk or similar CRM platform preferred
- Intuitive, critical thinker who excels in problem solving and can process information at a high rate
- Expert communicator across multiple communication channels to include phone, written, and chat environments
- Willingness to champion all problems, no matter how small, on behalf of customer
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
