What kind of base do I need for my Leesa mattress?

Do I need a mattress protector or mattress pad for my Leesa?

A mattress protector separates your new comfy Leesa mattress from anything life may throw (or spill!) its way. We recommend using one and washing it often to keep your bed fresh.

Will my new mattress sleep hot?

It’s true—some memory foam mattresses can cause you to sleep hot. At Leesa, we want you to get better, cooler rest. So, our mattresses feature a cooling top layer, made with holes on the top and sides to allow for constant airflow while you sleep.

How do I clean my Leesa mattress?

We recommend using a mattress protector and cleaning your bedding once a week to keep your mattress fresh. In addition, you should vacuum your mattress a few times a year with the upholstery attachment of your vacuum cleaner.

Will my new mattress have a smell?

Like all newly manufactured items, your new mattress may have a slight smell right after you unwrap it. However, the smell should go away pretty quickly (anywhere from a few hours to a few days). Don't worry! The smell is not associated with any harmful chemicals or off-gassing since all of our foams are CertiPUR-US® certified. For the first few days, or until the smell goes away, let your mattress breathe as much as possible.

What is the weight capacity for a Leesa mattress?

The Leesa Original was designed to support individual weights up to 300 pounds and the Hybrid was designed for individual weights up to 350 pounds.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is always free! We don't want you to have any hesitations when choosing a better night's sleep so we cover all shipping costs. We ship via FedEx ground to all 50 states.
